Things Aren't Always As They Seem
Things aren't always as they seem.
Facebook proves that.
Stories that we see on Facebook most always have a back story that subverts the intended story.
There's always a back story that isn't seen in the couple's lovey-dovey selfies, the family's over-posed portraits, or a bakery's perfectly coiffed pastries...
We work...all the time.
My shirts have flour on them...and chocolate, and buttercream, and sometimes strawberry compote...and Lordy, the powdered sugar!
My hairnet doesn't do anything for my modeling career.
Under duress, at times, four letter words spew from my lips.
We discuss--and sometimes squabble--about whether to take on a customer's request or not.
But our intention is--and always has been--to create joy for the customer.
It's not about the money.
It's not about the recognition.
It's about the customer enjoying their cake and cupcakes. Period.
And, from the bottom of our hearts, we appreciate your words of encouragement, your kind posts, pictures, and comments.
You will never really know how much they mean to us.
